Three ITC folks decided to draw maps of America to see how much geography they remembered. They told me to do it too, so I did.

29 States with approximately the right location.

12 State names known, but without a good sense of location.

9 States utterly forgotten.

People of tumblr, try it too! I’m particularly interested in how happylittlemexican, brute-reason, & tucharchist would do. No cheating!

Oh honey. You know I’d just draw a giant New York City, call it New York state, and have a little Ohio and a slightly-larger Chicago off to the left. :)

But fine, I’ll give this a try next time I have some paper. :)

ETA: I just visited a partner in Georgia, and he was dismayed to find out that 1) I had no idea that Florida is JUST SOUTH OF GEORGIA OMG WE COULD’VE TOTALLY GONE and 2) what the states to the west of Georgia are. I’m not sure I completely understood where exactly I was going on that trip.
