Brute Reason

A collection of thoughts about psychology, social justice, and anything else I give a shit about.

Topics: feminism / psychology / lgbtq / sex / politics / abortion / health / mental illness / language / depression / sexism / sexual assault / fashion / racism / education / social justice

my actual writing, if you're curious

Like, I get that provocative (read: inaccurate) headlines grab clicks, but then the entire discussion of the article centers on how inaccurate the headline is and how poorly it represents the actual information or argument in the article and why did I waste my time reading this when it was totally about something ELSE and the author must be an idiot for writing this headline (even though headlines are rarely written by the author of the article).

Happy now, media outlets?
